 Inspired by ‘Last Choir Standing’?

Only Women Allowed!

It’s official - singing improves your health!

Research by scientists at the University of Frankfurt has proved that singing for 60 minutes significantly increases the concentration of immunoglobin A in the blood

(to you and me, that’s proteins in the immune system that function as antibodies)

… and …
it’s great for relieving stress too! A similar increase in hydrocortisone levels was found – and that’s an anti-stress hormone!

Some of us already know that singing’s a great way to get the system buzzing. We sing in a chorus – it’s good, healthy fun with friends and it doesn’t cost the earth either.

Mountain Harmony has been looking after the well-being of local ladies for over 16 years. We sing 4-part harmony in an a cappella (unaccompanied) style … and we LOVE it!

We’d like to encourage any local ladies out there to join in this fabulous, healthy leisure activity.

We are now looking to audition new singers. Although we are based in Mold, some of our members travel from the Chester area, Wirral, and the North Wales Coast.

If you feel that you would like to try out this fascinating and vibrant musical sound, come and visit us on Monday evening. There is no pressure, and we make sure that you feel welcome and comfortable at all times. We will help you with a musical plan which usually gets most new Ladies singing harmony with the Chorus within just a few short weeks, but again, we stress that there is no pressure, and it's really for you to decide how quickly you would like to progress.

If you are feeling a little anxious, and would prefer to speak with someone before you decide on a visit, go to our "Contact us" page to find someone to talk to, or take a look at our "Diary" page to see where we are singing in the next few weeks.

Remember the fun you used to have? Well, we are still having it!
