 The Mountain Harmony Chorus is an organisation for women, based in the Mold, North Wales area, who sing four-part a cappella harmony, Barbershop style, and aspire to musical excellence and personal growth through education, performance, competition and friendship. Our 45+ chorus is comprised of women from all walks of life.

 With a varied and interesting musical repertoire, we perform regularly at concerts and musical festivals, support charity fundraising initiatives, and entertain an assortment of audiences throughout the region. Here we are singing in Theatre Clwyd, Mold

 In the competition arena, Mountain Harmony have enjoyed exciting and fruitful recent years. We are first prize section winners at the Chester, Wirral and Southport Music Festivals, and during an enjoyable April 2006 visit to County Down in Northern Ireland, we were proud to be awarded the coveted Bangor International Choral Festival Prize.

On Stage at the 2007 Llangollen International Eistedfodd 

As members of the British Ladies Organisation LABBS, our performance in the National Championship Final Contest, (see picture above) held in October 2007 at Bournemouth, earned us the Association's prestigious Millenium Award for the most improved Chorus, and our MD, Derek Hollis was presented with the Cheshire Chord Trophy as the Musical Director effecting the most significant improvement in a LABBS Chorus in 2007.
